I hoped that the oil spill did not cause any sea creatures to die. But it was a miracle that no one was injured.

Yeah! I have also read the newspaper articles on the oil spill for a few issues now. There seems to be a lot of articles on it. There was a lot of workers and volunteers deployed. The oil spill has affected areas almost all around the world! In the US, the "Top Kill" method was abandoned! The newspaper also said the effect from the oil spill may linger on for years! One guy also said that the Eco-system has to recover by itself! I can't beleive humans are so selfish! They create an accident, and other lifeforms also suffer? Have the Humans thought of how it will affect the environment and will eventually result is a greater loss to our economy! The fishing industry has suffered a great loss because of the oil spill! How will the fish-mongers feed their families now? Think of it selfish Humans! Humans are truly selfish, except for some people who care about the Earth and other people. Where's the Compassion?!

I think an oil spill might cause terrible damage on the environment and the things that would happen is very bad. The fish at the bottom of the food chain might die causing all the other fish to have no food.

Then, we ourselves might not have enough food to eat.

The oil spill will have polluted the water and makes it contaminated, which results in a serious damage to the aquatic animals. (e.g. fishes) When these fishes lives in a dangerous environment, it would eventually die. And if matter gets serious, all fish might be extinct due to no sufficient food and oxygen. If fishes die, we would not be able to obtain food from them. All their species would be gone sooner or later. And we will starve ourselves, this would lead to a major disaster..

That's really serious! the fishes would be unable to breath as fishes need oxygen.. Poor Fishes T_T . I read the news and they say that we are able to go to the beach for quite a while as the oil had spread quickly and rapidly throughout Singapore.
