Thank you,Mrs Tay but I thought the spelling sentences are supposed to be a secret until the spelling date? And I thought that we were supposed to learn how to use the word in a sentence.

Hi Shawn, thank you for your comment. A number of the pupils have difficulty thinking of the word when only the meaning is read in class. Showing the sentences in advance can help them have more time to think of the words. Note that the answers are not given, so pupils still have to learn to use the words appropriately in the sentences. We'll try this out for a few weeks and see if these pupils show progress.

Thanks Mrs.Tay for the tips. This will help other weaker ones in class to identify which word fits which. But will you shuffle the sentences? because some of them might take this opportunity to memorize the answer.
thx mrs tay it really did help me while im studying my spelling and i think u will shuffle the sentences will u or some others might memorize the answers without understanding the meaning of those words
